Oh! The Great Guru Teg Bahadur ji ,

A scholar who wrote spiritually,

Donned his turban majestically ,

And had a heart as big as the sea ,

Deep down what a fearless warrior was he ,

And once even considered the protector of Humanity.

He helped the lost by showing them the way,

And helped them fight greed and ego away .

Some used to pray ,

While others made statues of Clay ,

But no matter what ,

He used to be worshipped everyday .

Some argue it was what he used to say ,

While others say it was his charity that paved the way ,

But I’ll tell you what ,

His greatness was due to the charisma he gave away.
