Poet describes the rainy night and says that all stars in sky become invisible and covered by the clouds.

Normally, the Darkness has negative connotation so poet makes no exception on the rule.

Poet says that darkness is making more reflective and sad.

Rain seems to mirror the emotions and it looks tears falling softly.

Answer:

The poet notices the rainy evening and says that all the stars in the sky are not- visible because they are covered by the dark clouds. The rain is making "pitttter-patter" sound and falling upon the roof gently which is making himself blissful.
