Answer:

Wind on the hill is a poem by A.A Milne. Here the speaker is the poet himself where he is curious to know about the direction , source and end of the wind.

In the first para he seems to be curious about the source of the wind and also where the wind goes. He feels no one has the answer to it.

In second stanza he wants to track the direction of wind but he feels he can't keep pace with the fast blowing wind.

But he knows this much that the kite which he is holding will blow along with the wind when he stops holding it. In this way he can find where the wind blowing ends as he would trace the kite. But he still has no idea where the wind comes from because that is non-traceable.
