Point out three main differences between an artery and a veins.

1.artery carry pure blood whereas veins carry impure blood except pulmonary artery and pulmonary vein.
2.artery carry blood from the hearts whereas veins carry blood to the heart.
3. valves are absent in artery whereas valves are present in vein to prevent the backflow of blood.
