Answer:

i) Artery are blood vessels which carry blood away from the heart towards the various organs. Veins are blood vessels that carry blood away from the organs towards the blood.

ii) Arteries carry oxygenated blood(except pulmonary artery). Veins carry de-oxygenated blood(except pulmonary vein).

iii) Arteries have thicker walls in comparison to walls of veins.

iv) Veins have valves but arteries do not have valves.
