Line segment is such that O and Q are end points and P is any point between O and Q

So OP + PQ = OQ

⇒  6 + 3x = (4x - 3)  

⇒  6 + 3 = 4x - 3x

⇒  x = 9

OQ = 4x -3 = 4 ×9  - 3 = 36 -3 = 33

hence numerical length of OQ = 33 units.
