Child labour is a punishable offense in our country, it was enacted to ensure at least basic level of education for all the children in our country. It was implemented but the raids to stop these activities is very rare by our officials.

The only reason for child labor is poverty, some parents sell their kids as slaves for a cheap amount of money. Orissa and Bihar has many number of child labours but the state government fail to care about this issue. I do not know, why these governments shows no interest on future of those kids. They has to try to stop these kind of activities in their state. They are the responsible person to ensure the children to have education.
