Political parties help the country to maintain the democracy.  India is a democratic country and we have won praises from all other country for maintaining this.  We have people of diverse culture but have found “unity in diversity.”

To bring our country as democratic state, many great people have worked very hard.  Dr. Ambedkar was the Principal Architect of the “Constitution of India”.  He was also known as “Founding Father of the Republic India.”  He was also “India’s First Law Minister”, apart from being a Politician.

Political parties like the Congress, during the initial period of Independent India had done a lot to maintain the democracy.  We have parties like BJP which gives importance to Humanism never had tried to instill communism in India.

Yes. Political Parties are the backbone of democracy without which no action can be taken, no law could be enforced and no message could be given to the public.

Democracy means the power is actually in the hand of general public which select their representatives through the elections. The political parties plays an important role in this selections by the public because out of political parties the representatives are chosen for the whole of parliament Political parties ensures the selection of general public and provide the way through which general public have the liberty about their decisions. The weak political parties in a country means the democracy of that particular country is also weak thus the chances are their that ruler of that area are not chosen by the people which can result in the snatching of basic human rights from the people. So role of political parties provide a backbone for democracy as the they ensures the government of public .
