Polling will occur tomorrow in 20 constituencies in Jharkhand across 7 Maoist tribal districts in 2nd half of five-stage elections to 81-member Assembly.  

Plenty security forces have been placed in all 20 constituencies with 16 of them reserved for tribals and security personnel have been asked to strictly follow standard operating methods.  

Together 44,31,900 voters which includes 21,72,982 women are qualified to exercise their franchise in 5,048 polling stations across seven districts to choose their representatives from among 223 candidates including 35 women.  

Former CMs Arjun Munda and Madhu Koda are candidates in fray.

Jharkhand comprise of 14 Lok Sabha seats and the vote will take place in four phases.

On 29th April three seats in Jharkhand will go on polls and on the 6th May and 12th May 4 seats each will vote.

Besides, the last phase of the voting will take place on 19th May.

Therefore, three parliamentary seats in Jharkhand will be polled.
