Polyembryony is the formation of more than one embryo from a single ovum or in a single seed.
Polyembryony, a common phenomenon of many plants and animals in which the embryos are identical to one another, but are genetically diverse from the parents due to the embryos resulting from the same egg e.g. Hymenoptera.
