Polygons PQRST and VWXYZ are similar. If PQ = 5 feet, QR = 10 feet, RS = 2 feet, ST = 9 feet, TP = 4 feet, and XY = 6 feet, then what is the length of WX?

According to the laws of similarity

 \frac{a1}{a2}  =  \frac{b1}{b2}  =  \frac{c1}{c2}  =  \frac{d1}{d2}  =  \frac{e1}{e2}

So here we have to find WX and given QR, RS and XY so,

 \frac{qr}{wx}  =  \frac{rs}{xy}

 \frac{10}{x}  =  \frac{2}{6}

x =  \frac{10 \times 6}{2}

x = 30

So, the value of WX is 30 feet.
