HEYA!!

 {x}^{2}   + 3x + 9 = 0

by using formula of D

d =  {b}^{2}  - 4ac

on comparing it with general equation

a {x}^{2}  + bx + c = 0

we get

d =  {3}^{2}  - 4 \times 1 \times 9

d =  - 27

since D has a negative value means ROOTS ARE IMAGINARY.
