What will be the number of real zeroes of the polynomial xsquare +1? X^2 + 1 = 0. Since it is a quadratic equation ,it should have two zeroes. Here we can see, both the zeros are imaginary in nature.

Imaginary zeroes ( roots )

p(x) = x² + 1

Discriminant, D = b² - 4ac

==> 0 - 4

==> -4

Here, D < 0 So roots are imaginary.
