"Poor people live in a prosperous India"- This is really true for a country like India.

India is a developing country where most of the people still do not possess enough money which might term them into "high income groups" as compared to their western counterparts.

However one basic difference between the Indians with that of their western counterparts is that, Indians live in a land that is rich in a wide variety of natural resources while in western areas, people have money, but they still have to depend upon importing important commodities for their daily use, as their country is not so rich in terms of its natural resources.

For Example: Coal, Diamond, Limestone, Mica, Bauxite are some of the reserves which are present in maximum quantities in India only.
