Hi Doss1,
Here's your answer...
There are many complex problems in our country which inhibit the development of the country. Population growth is also one of the most complex problems in the country. India is the most populous country after China in the whole world.
But seeing the speed at which our population is increasing, the day is not far when it will be more than China. The rate of our population growth can be estimated from this that after five years of independence, it has crossed the 33 crore to 100 million mark.
There are many reasons for population growth in the country. Firstly the climate is more favorable for breeding. In addition to this, poverty, illiteracy, conservatism and narrow thinking are also other reasons for population growth. The tradition of child marriage in the country was from ancient times, which still exists in villages, resulting in more children being born.Lack of education is also a major reason for population growth. The people of ignorance can not understand the significance of family planning. In addition to being the dominant of the male society, people produce many offspring in the boy's wish. But after this, they do not have the ability to uphold their proper livelihood while living poor and distressed lives.
The country has achieved immense successes in the field of medicine, which has resulted in decrease in death rate as well as increase in birthrate.Treatment of incurable diseases such as leprosy, tuberculosis and cancer has been possible, due to which the population is increasing at an uncontrolled pace. Apart from this, the root cause of population growth is illiteracy and poverty.
Statistics show that in the states where education level has increased and poverty has decreased there has also been a decrease in the growth rate of population. The population growth rate in Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc. is highest because there is a slow progress of the society in these provinces. The problem of population growth in the country today is in a very dire situation, as a result the country is facing many difficulties. The adverse consequences of the population being more than the resources available in the country is that even after five decades of independence, about 40 percent of the population is living below the poverty line. These people are also struggling to meet their common physical needs. We have undoubtedly achieved nuclear power, but unfortunately it is still today that millions of people are illiterate. Many children in the country are victims of malnutrition which can be estimated that it is a very difficult task to realize our concept of a healthy India.
Curbing the growing population is absolutely essential for the country's all-round tricuspace. If meaningful steps are not taken in this direction, then the day is not far when the situation will turn away from our control. First of all it is necessary that we give a more detailed form of family planning programs.
Efforts are required on social, religious and personal level not only at the administrative level but also for the prevention of population growth. Awareness campaign against public opinion should be launched for its prevention at all levels.
Government of India has taken many steps in this direction in the past years but it is necessary to take even more stricter steps to make them meaningful. For the country's golden future, we should also take some decisions that may seem inconvenient at this time, but far-reaching consequences are certainly enjoyable - like our neighboring country, more than one child can be banned in a family like China. The exclusion of more children at the administrative and social level can also be an effective solution. If countrywide awareness arises in this direction, then we can undoubtedly make our place in leading countries of the world....
Hope it helps....
