Given population of Town =  15625

After 1 year = (15625 + 8% of  15625) = 15625 + (8/100) × (15625)

                   = 15625 + 1250

                   = 16875

After 2 years = (16875 + 8% of 16875) = 16875 + (8/100) × 16875

                      =  16875 + 1350

                      =  18225

After 3 years = ( 18225 + 8% of 18225) =  18225 + (8/100) × 18225

                      = 18225 + 1458

                      = 19683

there is one other short method also which will also help us to recheck our answer.

each year there is increase of 8 % . that is after one year population becomes 108%

= 108/100 = 1.08

so if we multiply 1.08 three times to 15625 ( current population) , we will get population after 3 years.

that is 15625 × 1.08 × 1.08 × 1.08 = 19683

Hence our answers matches and we can use any of the above methods.

So population after end of 3 years will be 19683
