Potato amd ginger are both underground parts that store food . Where is the food prepared in them ??

The food is prepared in the form of starch. In potato and ginger plants, the food is stored in the underground parts. Ginger andpotato are underground stems; while Potato is a tuber, Ginger is a rhizome and the food is stored inthem in the form of starch though it is prepared in the leaves
