Now as the density of iron is much grater than that of rubber, the mass contained in the same volume would be much greater for iron than rubber. So, the mass (and thus weight) of iron ball would be much greater than rubber ball. This means that the inertia of iron ball would also be much grater than rubber ball.

This means that it would be much easier to move the rubber ball than iron ball and thus the rubber ball will move faster.
