Step-by-step explanation:

diameter diameter of cylinder kal container is equal to 14 cm

radius equal to 14/2 is equal to 7 cm

height of container 20 CM

height of level in container 20 - 4 is equal to 16 cm

area off labelis equal to 2π rh

2*22/7*16=704cm square

Solution:

Here, r = 142 = 7 cm

Height of the cylindrical label = 20 – (2 + 2) = 16 cm

Surface area of the cylindrical shaped label = 2πrh

= 2 × 227 × 7 × 16

= 704 cm2

Hence, the required area of label = 704 cm2.
