W = V x I                    w= watt  V=volt   I=current

Power supplied to an electric circuit is the potential difference or EMF of the voltage source multiplied with the current flowing in the circuit.

Power in Watts =  Voltage in volts  *  Current in Amperes
P =  V * I
1 Watt = 1 Volt * 1 Amp
