Power sharing is suitable only for big countries that have regional divisions .explain the statement?

Power sharing helps in reducing conflicts and tensions and maintaining social harmony and peace.Hence in this way it is suitable ​only in societies which have religious linguistic or ethnic groups. As societies with diversities have the tendency of more conflicts and tensions than societies which does not have social divisions.

b.Big countries generally have regional divisions and power sharing is essential as concentration of power in fewer hands may neglect the interests of minorities and raise the dominance of majority.

c. Power sharing is necessary in every society whether it is big or small , whether it has social divisions or not. This is so because power sharing is one of the basic element of democracy. If democracy has to sustain then power sharing is essential.It reduces the chances of conflicts and struggle.
