Solution

Given :-

Three numbers are in the ratio 3:4:5

the Sum of the largest and the smallest equals the sum of the third and 52

Find :-

These Number .

Explanation

Let, Number be

First Number be = 3x

Second Number be = 4x

Third Number be = 5x

Then, According to question,

➡ 3x + 5x = 5x + 52

➡8x = 5x + 52

➡8x - 5x = 52

➡3x = 52

➡x = 52/3

Hence

First Number will be = 3x = 3 × 52/3 = 52

Second Number will be = 4x = 4 × 52/3 = 208/3

Third Number will be = 5x = 5×52/3 = 260/3

_______________

Answer Verification

(the Sum of the largest and the smallest equals the sum of the third and 52)

➡3x + 5x = 5x + 52

Keep Value of x.

➡3 × 52/3 + 5 × 52/3 = 5 × 52/3 + 52

➡52 + 260/3 = 260 + 52

➡(156+260)/3 = (156 + 260)/3

➡416/3 = 416/3

L.H.S. = R.H.S.
