We know that, Chords of equal length subtend same angle at the centre.
So, If two chords subtend equal angles at the centre, They must be equal.
Given, PQ and RS are chords of a circle with Centre O.
And, ∠POQ = 90° ( Angle subtended by chord PQ at the centre)
∠ROS = 90° ( Angle subtended by chord RS at the centre)
Therefore, ( Angle subtended by chord PQ at the centre) = ( Angle subtended by chord RS at the centre)
This implies, The chords must be of equal length.
So, PQ = RS
Already given, PQ = 6 cm
So, RS = PQ = 6cm.
Therefore, Length of RS is 6cm.
