PQ is diameter of a circle. MN perpendicular to PQ and PQ=10 cm and PR-2 cm
then find the length of MN.​

Now draw a line connecting O and M ... and OM = 5 cm as it is radius...

Now in triangle OMR we will use pythagorus theorum to find MR..

OP = 5 cm... and PR = 2cm .... so OR = OP-PR = 5-2 = 3cm

Now in triangle OMR...  5^2 = MR^2 + 3^2

root (25 - 9) = MR

MR = 4 cm

Now MR = RN as Perpendicular line bisects a chord into 2 equal parts..

Now MN = MR + RN = 4 + 4 = 8 cm

FINAL ANSWER :- 8 cm
