By Pythagoras theorem

(PR^2) +(PQ^2)=QR^2

16+9=QR^2

QR^2=25

QR=5cm

The length of QR is 5 cm.

Given - Length of PQ and PR

Find - Length of QR

Solution - As the given triangle is right angled, we will use Pythagoras theorem to find the length of QR.

QR² = PQ² + PR²

QR² = 3² + 4²

Taking square

QR² = 9 + 16

Performing addition

QR² = 25

QR = ✓25

Taking square root

QR = 5 cm

Hence, the length of QR is 5 cm.
