Answer:

GIVEN :-

              PR = (2x + 4) cm  ----------- (1 )

              QS = (3x + 1) cm -------------(2)

TO FIND :- X = ?

here rectangle have the property ,

diagonals of the rectangle are equal

∴ PR = QS

∴(2x + 4 )= (3x + 1 )

∴( 2x - 3x )= ( 1- 4 )

∴  -x        =   -3

∴  x      = 3

now put the value of the x in the above equation  (1) & (2)

   1 .  2x +4 = 2*3+4 =6 + 4 = 10 cm

   2. 3x + 1 = 3*3 + 1 =9 + 1 = 10 cm
