PQRS is a rhombus having diagonal PR = 60 mm and QS = 40 mm and they are perpendicular to each other. The plane of the rhombus is inclined with H.P. such that its top view appears to be square. The top view of PR makes 30° with the V.P. Draw its projections and determine inclination of the plane with the H.P

Solution :

The step for construction of the drawing are :

1. Keep PR parallel to HP and QS is perpendicular to line VP.

Consider the inclination of PR as inclination of the plane.

2. Incline PR at 48 degree to the line HP.

Incline the front view at 48 degree to HP.

3. Incline QS at 30 degree to VP.
