Answer

20 cm

\rule{200}2

Explanation

Given, PQRS is a ||gm, having side RS = 24cm, perpendicular on RS, PO = 10 cm and perpendicular on RQ, PT = 12 cm.

Now, area of parallelogram = base × height.

For base RS, height = PO

→ area of parallelogram = PO × RS

For base RQ, height = PT

→ area of parallelogram = PT × RQ

Equating the two, we get

PO × RS = PT × RQ

→ 10 × 24 = 12 × RQ

→ RQ = 10 × 2

→ RQ = 20 cm.
