Now, area of parallelogram = base × height.
For base RS, height = PO
→ area of parallelogram = PO × RS
For base RQ, height = PT
→ area of parallelogram = PT × RQ
Equating the two, we get
PO × RS = PT × RQ
→ 10 × 24 = 12 × RQ
→ RQ = 10 × 2
→ RQ = 20 cm.
