Prabhas finishes the work in 3 hrs
Solution :
As Prabhas finishes the work in 3 hrs
So, Rana will finish the work in 6 hrs as Prabhas is twice as good a workman as Rana.
So work done by Rana in 1 hr = 1/6 work
work done by Prabhash in 1 hr = 1/3 work
Work done together in 1 hr
= 1/6 + 1/3
= 3+6/6×3
= 9/18 = 1/2
So, half work(1/2) is done in 1 hr
Hence, for completing one work (1) together they will need
1/(1/2) = 2 hr
So, in 2 hours they together could finish that piece of work
