Ans:
Initial colour of

CuSO4 is Blue
Fe (Iron nail) is grey

Then,
FeSO4 is greenish
Cu is red - brown.

when a piece of iron metal is placed in copper sulphate solution then iron sulphate solution and copper metal are formed ,

CuSI4 + Fe ----> FeSO4 + Cu

In this reaction the iron displaces copper from copper sulphate solution .

the deep blue colour of copper sulphate solution fades due to formation of light green solution of iron sulphate .

Red Brown coating of copper metal is formed on the surface of iron metal .

Hope it helps...!!

hola,
when an iron nail is dipped in the copper sulphate solution .the portion of nail which is inside the solution will become red.this is because a layer of copper gets deposited over the surface of the nail.the colour of the solution will slowly change from blue to green due to the formation of iron(II) sulphate.
reaction:-

Fe. + CuSO4. = Cu. + FeSo4
iron. copper(II). copper. iron(III)sulphate
sulphate
