By educating yourself and leading by example. Get out and start cleaning up yourself. People will follow in your footsteps.

You can also post on social media pages and maybe set up a cleaning party to meet up on a certain date and clean the roadways.

Where I live, every year and now 2 times a year, we hold a beach clean up, and its grown so much that thousands come out to help. It started out with less than a hundred.

Its an event that relies solely on volunteers and its amazing to see young and old out helping keep our beaches clean.
