Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation is +2x-5=0

Completing the square method:-

+2x-5=0

=>+2x=5

=>+2(x)(1)=5

adding 1²= 1 on both sides then

=>+2(x)(1)+1²=5+1

=>(x+1)²=6

since (a+b)²=+2ab+

=>x+1=±6

=>x=-1±6

therefore x=-1+6 or -1-√6

Zeroes of the given equation are 6-1 and -1-6
