Solution:

Given:

  • Length of cabinet = 1 m
  • Breadth of cabinet = 2 m
  • Height of cabinet = 1.5 m

we've to find the area covered except top and bottom.

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h ( L + B )

→ Lateral surface area = 2 × (1.5) × (1 + 2)

→ Lateral surface area = 3 × 3

→ Lateral surface area = 9 m²

Hence, area covered if she painted all surfaces except the top and bottom of the cabinet will be 9 m².

Hi there!

Your Answer :-

\huge\sf\pink{Given}\rightarrow

Length = 1m.

Breadth = 2m.

Height = 1.5m.

Basically, In this Question We Will Find Lateral Surface Area.

Lateral Surface Area = 2(l+b)h

Put the values.

\bf\red{2 \times (1 + 2) \times 1.5}

\bf\green{1.5 \times 6}

\bf\blue{9 \:  {m}^{2} }

So, Your Answer Is 9m²
