                                      Age of Pranav's father = 7x

                               2 years later Pranav's age  = (x + 2)

                  2 years later Pranav's fathers age = 5(x + 2) or 7x + 2

           ∴ 5(x+2) = 7x+2

             5x+10  = 7x+2

              10 - 2  = 7x - 5x

                     8  = 2x

                      x = $\frac{8}{2}$

                         =4

∴ Pranav's age is 4 years and fathers age is 7 × 4 = 28
