Prashant was a helpful teenager. He found that there was no leader to guide people, so he himself emerged as a leader. He gathered the group of youth and moved towards merchant to get some rice. Then the youth under his leadership, cleaned the shelter which was full of urine, dirt etc. The rescue team used to drop some packets In a long time gap. So Prashant get some kids and said them to lay on the sand. He then put some utensils on their body. The next time rescue helicopter came, they were able to see the little kids due to the reflection of the utensils. Then they started dropping food packets regularly. He told the women to look after the kids and make food and the men were required to clean, gather useful things etc.

Not only this, Prashant also organised cricket matches for the kids to let them emerge from the sadness. He involved the women in a food-for-work programme in an NGO. He United the villagers. In this way, he helped the people of his village.

I would have done the same as what Prashant has done

Answer:

Prashant was the eyewitness to see the destruction that was caused by the cyclone. He saw there was water everywhere, he took the lead and divided the work in groups. Firstly, he went to the merchant to convince him to give rice to the villagers so that they could eat food. Secondly,  Prashant saw the number of children were homeless their parents were no more so he made shelters of poly bags and asked women who were widows to take care of those children. He negated the idea of NGO , because according to him there would be no love and affection and children will grow in that environment which will be bad for their mental health and women will be lonely.

I would have done the same thing.
