preeti is painting the wall and ceiling of the hall whose dimensions are 18*15*5 m. from each can of paint 120 m square of area is painted. how many cans of paint she needs to paint the hall?

Length of the hall = 18 m 
Breadth of the hall = 15 m 
Height of the hall = 5 m
 Total surface area of the hall = 2 ( lb + bh + hl)
                                                    = 2 (18*15 + 15*5 + 5*18)
                                                    = 2 (270 + 75 + 90)
                                                    = 2 * 435 = 870 m sq.
Each can of paint may paint  = 120 m sq
So, Number of can needed = 870 / 120
                                           = 7  1/4 can
