That is too simple.
Torque is a force that tend to cause rotation.
When the angle is 180 it means that no angle is created instead of straight line

we know that torque = PE sin Ф.where P represents dipole and E represents electric field.
so when Ф= 180 implies that sinФ = sin 180 = 0.
therefore toque becomes zero.so therefore no torque is produced.
