Her monthly income is ₹43200.

• Given data :

She spent 12% of her monthly income.

She donated 20% of the remaining amount to the orphanage.

She deposited 50% of the remaining amount to the bank.

She has left with rupees 12672.

• Let,her monthly income = ₹ x (assume x as a variable to calculate the total monthly income of the Preeti)

• So,her spent amount

= x × 12/100

= x × 6/50

= x × 3/25

= ₹ 3x/25

• Remaining amount = x - 3x/25 = ₹ 22x/25

• Donated amount to the orphanage = 22x/15 × 20/100 = ₹ 22x/75

• Remaining amount = 22x/25 - 22x/75 = (66x-22x)/75 = ₹ 44x/75

• Deposited amount to the bank = 44x/75 × 50/100 = ₹ 22x/75

• Last remaining amount = 44x/75 - 22x/75 = ₹ 22x/75

Now,if we compare our calculated last remaining amount and the given last remaining amount,then we will get the following equation :

22x/75 = 12672

x = 12672 × 75/22

x = 43200

So,her monthly income is ₹43200. (Answer)
