A technique for producing good quality well-defined anthracene-doped thin films of the organic semiconductor Cs2 TCNQ3 (TCNQ ≡ 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquino-dimethane) is described. In order to determine the properties and characteristics of these films we performed various optical experiments including fluorescence, visible and IR absorption spectroscopy.
