Interviewer=> Hello sir!
Labour=> Hello
Interviewer=> Can you tell me how many people does your house have and do you all live peacefully?
Labour=> I, my wife and my three children's are there in which 1 is daughter and 2 sons. My sons are 8 & 10 years old and they do small works like one does cattle rearing and one can do the farming in our small farm and other farms and I think of marrying my daughter as she is 16 .
Interviewer=> Sir she is ineligible for marrying and why do your children work even when they are small?
Labour=> I know everything. But I can't do anything. There's no better school in village the teachers don't come and so no use of studying and in case of daughter so I don't have money to marry her so when any relation would come I will make her married. If there would be a good school in my village I would have taught my children's there.
Interviewer=> Where do you live here in city?
Labour=> I live mostly here only in my factory and when there is no place to sleep then I sleep anywhere where I can get place. The place where I work is a government factory but still they close all the doors and just leave the small ground for so many of their workers they don't give us houses to live also and we get a low salary for a tiring work so I am not able to rent a house here and live.
Interviewer=> What do you think the government can do for you?
Labour=>I don't have any belief on government so I won't speak for it.
Interviewer=> Why sir why don't u believe your government?
Labour=> It is because the governments won't do anything for us. We are poor and so they won't do anything for us. They just promote the one who are rich not we poor's. They just say great things at the time of elections and don't do anything but they should do.
Interviewer=> Sir what do you want for your government?
Labour=>They should give us just a little place to sleep and would give us cheap food to eat and that's it sir.
Interviewer=> Thank you sir for giving your valuable time :)
Labour=> Welcome. I request u to please send my feedback to government so that they can help us out.
Hope this helps.....

S :Hello Sir!Good morning.I am Snehitha,a news reporter.
R :Hello Mam, nice to meet you.How can I help you?
S :Do u know what is the special of this day?!
R :Special?? What's special about today. I do not know as I am illiterate.
S :Sir, today is May Day which is also referred as International Workers' Day which is particularly for you.
R :What is the use, Mam! Though it is the day for us, is there at least any one benefit! No. The government will not help us.On that day also, we need to work.
S :Tell us about your daily work.
R :I'm Ravi,a worker of coal industry.I go daily into the deep and work. Many companions also work in very deeps. It's dangerous. We go deep and deep to dig coal.
S :How many hours do you work? What about break? How much time do you get break? Please tell us
R :Ok!
We work for more than 15 hours.I get into work at 5:00 am. I go to home at 10:00 pm.We
should work without any break. If we stop working at least for 5 min, we would lose our job. So, we all work seriously without any break. And for lunch, break is only for 30 min. At evening, again one more break for about half an hour. In 15 hours work, we get break only for 1 hour.So bad! But what can we do! For our children, we are doing all these. We are playing with our life.
S :Tell us about your family.
R :I live with my wife, sons and daughters in which one of them are son and two are daughters. We live in a hit which is beside the factory. My son is also working in the factory as we stopped his studying. My daughters,i did not make them to study as we are poor, we don't have much money. They also help in working.
S :Why do you make children to work factory?
R :Due to many problems, I made them to work in factory. Some are :-
•As we are poor, to earn money
•To live better
•To get married to my daughters.
•Less wages of me
•Personal problems
I can not share my personal problems.Sorry!
S :It's okay, Sir!
Do you suppose that the government is giving you all facilities? What do you need from the Government?
R :No,I do not agree that the government is giving the labourers all facilities. It's not giving at least basic facilities such as
•Permanent house
•Less working hours
•More wages
•Job security
We drink polluted water, we breathe polluted air. Everything is polluted.
I expect from government the following facilities.
•More wages.
•Less working hours
•Good working conditions
•Provident fund.
•Health facilities
•Job security
Nothing more than those.
S :How are the working conditions,Sir.
R :Poor working conditions!
Everything is danger. We are not sure about our lives. When will we be in danger! Our life is miserable. It's dangerous too.We dig deeper and deeper. Our lives are not sure.
S :What do you expect from the government on this day?
R :I expect a new life from here which would be with many new facilities like good working conditions, more wages, less working hours. And also pollution free environment and a better house. It's not only to me not also to all labourers.
S :Good heart yours,Sir.Wishing for everyone not only to you.
R :It's my pleasure.
S :What do you do for your children?
R :I would make them to study in government school. Because I am not feeling nice to make them to work in factory. It's not good. So,I feel it easy and comfortable to make them study. They will make me proud.
S :Thank you, Sir for telling about you.
R :It's okay. Welcome
Hope your interview would awaken the government.
S :Thank you for spending your valuable time with us.
R :You are welcome.
Dhanyavaad.
S :Once again, I wish you Happy May Day.
R :Thank you,Mam.
Hope it helps you
