labourers are very tired and exhausted in the may day by the Sun's heat and sun's rays.. there's a conversation between the labourer and a interviewer.... Labourers are working in the very hot day of may and the interviewer said "how are they working in this very much hot conditions just below the sun ??",,''u all didn't need a rest??" labourers said that we are doing our work just to ventilate our family and give them some sorts of food.. then the interviewer asked how much do u get per day... thn the labourer replied that they are getting only 200 to 350 per day... so it is difficult for us to manage ... the interviewer asked "thn what shud all do so that u all may live in good condition as u all are dying of sunstroke and koma..." they claimed that half day shud be given to them in this may month and they shud be payed what was paid to them earlier...

Hello Govind,

Here is the interview:-

Interviewer:- Hello audience we wish you all a happy may day. Today on the account of may day we have a labourer who is ready to share his feelings in this special interview. Hello sir.

Labourer:- Hello sir, Happy may day to all the audience.I'm happy to be here and share my feelings and problems faces by a common labourer.

Interviewer:- We shall begin our show with a little introduction. So sir can u share with us about your family, children, daily expenditure and your daily needs etc.

Labourer:- My name is Ramesh and I'm from a small backward village named Palampur.I work as a labourer in a nearby town in a chemical factory. I get a monthly expenditure of 2000rupees which is insufficient to meet the daily needs. I have 2 sons and a daughter and none of them is a literate. My sons are also working as a labourers in the same factory while my daughter stays in home and helps my wife.

Interviewer:- Sir, could you explain our audience about may day and why is it celebrated?

Labourer:- Surely, May day is the day of workers and labourers. Infact it is a public holiday for the hard work done by workers throughout the year.

Interviewer:-Thank you sir Sir, on the whole you are earning 8000 rupees for youe family. Is it sufficient for all of your family needs?

Labourer:-Not really. My father is a TB patient and he needs treatment which is of very high cost. We spent money as far as we could but we couldnt save him. Not only my father today in the society most of the common employee or labourer' s situation is the same.

Interviewer:- Sir, can you explain our audience some of the problems faces by common labourers?

Labourer:- Surely, we daily come across some difficulties in our life. They might problems caused due to lack of sufficient money which include no proper medical treatment , unable to meet daily needs , no proper food etc. Some other problems include stress due to excess work etc.

Interviwer:- Sir, how many hours do you work per day?

Labourer:- Most probably I work for 6 to 7 hours per day and if any excess work required we work up to 10 hours like that. It all depends on the amount of work. But althoight we work so long if required we get paid same amount of salary.

Interviewer:- Sir, what kind of problems due to face due to this kind of excessive work?

Labourer:- we face some kind of problems like stress, tired, some times we will have fever, headache etc. At that time we will not be able to eat also.

Interviewer:-Sir,your labourer community consists of people of what ages?

Labourer:- Our labour community consists of people of ages between 25-60.

Interviewer:- Sir, in that case it would be very difficult to people of age 50-60 to do the work. How could they manage?

Labourer:- Yeah, you are right. They are often easily prone to problems like sickness, stress and often faint. But they still continue their work to make their living. Sometimes it is very sad to see them doing like that. But these problems are caused only due to poverty.

Interviewer:- Sir, do your company organise some kind of competitions, get togethers etc to encourage workers?

Labourer:-Well, yeah, my company conducts some kind of competitions and get together every year to raid the competition spirit and to encourage workers. Often , people are awarded for their performance.

Interviewer:-Sir, what role does the government play in ensuring your salary, health and other facilities?

Labourer:- The government mostly tries to implement schemes for farmers . Sometimes some schemes are helpful to us also but not much.

Interviewer:-Sir, do you want to convey any message to you fellow citizens?

Labourer:- Yeah, every occupation has it's own importance. Each occupation is great because all profession mostly have the hard Work of workers behind it. So never try to criticise or try to lower the people doing small scale jobs.

Interviewer:- Thank you so much sir. We are happy for you presence and wish you all once again a happy may day. Thank you take care everyone.

Hope it helps u..
