labourers are very tired and exhausted in the may day by the Sun's heat and sun's rays.. there's a conversation between the labourer and a interviewer.... Labourers are working in the very hot day of may and the interviewer came to say "how are they working in this very much hot conditions just below the sun??",,''u all didn't need a rest??" labourers said that we are doing our work just to ventilate our family and give them some sorts of food.. then the interviewer asked how much do u get per day... thn the labourer replied that they are getting only 200 to 350 per day... so it is difficult for us to manage ... the interviewer asked "thn what shud all do so that u all may live in good condition as u all are dying of sunstroke and koma..." they claimed that half day shud be given to them in this may month and they shud be payed what was paid to them earlier...

hope i hv hlped..... on the topic Prepare a conversion between a labourer & an interviewer on May Day Special Interview programme …..

(This is an interview held by the news channel BBT. This is an special interview on account of May day. The interviewer is the cheif reporter, Sarah Logan. The person being interviewed here is a construction site worker, Mrs.Koyal Mishra. Interviewer Sarah Logan will be represented as SL and Mrs.Koyal Mishra will be represented as KM)

SL: Good evening, viewers! We are here in a special interview on account of something special. Well, It is May day. We have someone special here with us and the special someone is Mrs.Koyal Mishra. Welcome, Mrs.Mishra.

KM: Thank you, ma'am. I feel honored to be here.

SL: Well, Mrs.Mishra is a construction site worker. We have her here as it is May day, Labour's day. Happy Labour's day to Mrs.Mishra and our viewers.

KM: Thank you, Ms.Logan.

SL: Tell us about your work Mrs.Mishra,

KM: I work in the construction sites. I work for AL builders. They take up construction contracts and employ us. I get work only when they get contract.

SL: What do you do when they don't get contract? Ho do you earn a livelihood?

KM: It is very tough for me to manage. But my elder son works as a mechanic and also studying. My family depends on him.

SL: Hmm.. It is very tough. Mrs.Mishra, Please tell us about your family.

KM: (After a heavy sigh, with sad face) My....My husband left the world 7 years back. Our income badly affected. I was forced to work and my children was deprived of peaceful education. They had to manage both their studies and job.
Ever since we had tough times. But still we managed. I have 2 sons. Both are very caring. Traces of sorrow of my husband's departure never left.

SL: Hold on Mrs.Mishra. You really had tough times. We appreciate your will power. As a single parent, you have raised your children.

KM: (With a smile) Thank you, ma'am.

SL: So, what are the difficulties you face daily due to your work.

KM: Construction site work is really laborious. I go to work early morning and return at late nights. I hardly get sleep for 5 hours. It is the situation of any worker like me. The work is very harsh. Hands and legs would burn. Hands will get a lot of wounds. But we can't tell excuses. Our wage depends on the number of days we work. In rainy season, no matter if it is raining, we will work. Only when is a heavy rain, we get a day off. In winter season, no matter how cool it is we work. In summer time like this, in the hot son, bare-footed we work. We will be Sun burnt and would get lit of health issues. However, we have to manage. People don't come out in the sun but we have to do work.

SL: That is so sad of you. You really face a lot of problems. Harsh days are very tough for you. But still you have to work. You get a break?

KM: Break... Well, only lunch break and evening break.

SL: My god! It is really harsh. What about your wages?

KM: We get 300 per day.

SL: Hmm... Can you meet your expenses?

KM: My wage and my two sons' wage is 7000 per month. We are hardly left out with 300 rupees and we save it.

SL: Still you save it? That is really great. It will surely help you in future. What are your other difficulties?

KM: Ms. Logan, My only sadness is when my children could not have enough food when we have no work. What is more sad for a mother? It is worse than walking bare-footed in the hot sun.

SL: Hmm... It is very pathetic. Well, are your child labours?

KM: No, They are above 16. One is 16, the other 18. I know the shortcomings of child labour.

SL: It seems you know quite well about the important of education. What about you in that? So far you have been speaking well.

KM: Ms.Logan, I am educated up to 12th and has gone to some free government courses too.

SL: Interesting, why don't you search a job for your qualification?

KM: I did not get one.

SL: Really disappointing. Then, This labour's day really is deserving to workers like you. Anything you want to tell to the viewers?

KM: Yes! One thanks to AL builders for accepting a woman and giving equal wage as men. I was given the right. Then, viewers, whatever struggle or problem comes in your way, never give up. You have your future. Break all the obstacles and head towards a bright future. I believe i have a bright future because i trust my sons would make it for me. Thank you!

SL: Thank you, Mrs.Mishra. And, Thank you for joining us today.

KM: It's my pleasure, ma'am.

SL:Happy labour's day to all. And, Never give up. I will meet you all in the next in another interview until this, it's Sarah Logan signing off. Take care.
