• Human beings have evolved from being hunters and gatherers, but with time hunting and gathering became tiresome and the fruits and herbs that were gathered tended to diminish or headed to extinction.

• When mankind noticed this change in his environment, he started tendering and domesticating the plants and animals. This was a paradigm shift from gathering to domestication and therefore human beings started producing food as a result of agriculture and domestication.
