Bangaon, September 6, 2017: Though teacher's Day was celebrated all over India on 5th September, it was celebrated in a different way in Bangaon High School this year. The whole function was organised by the students of that school. Honourable chief guest XYZ was also invited. The function was started at 10am by lighting the lamp by Headmaster of the school and invited guest. The invited guest spoke few lines on the significance of the day. Also, many students spoke on the significance of the day. None of them forgot to mention that it was the wish of Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan that his birthday should be celebrated as the Teacher's Day as he was himself a teacher at one time. Each of the teachers of the school and invited guest was felicitated with gifts. After this all, several games was organised for the teachers and programmes like dance, recitation, one act play, songs, etc was performed by the students of the school. Likewise, the programme ended with happiness and joy.

As this was our last year in the school, we decided to make this year's Teachers' Day memorable for all. The celebration started at 10 a.m. The event started by lighting a lamp by our Principal. Our Principal and the guests spoke on the significance of this day and how they as children celebrated this special day. Then the teachers were felicitated by the students. Which was followed by programs performed by songs, dances, plays, recitations, quizzes, and much more. The celebration ended with all the teachers telling how much they enjoyed the event.
