Children's Day was celebrated at St Joseph's Convent Senior Secondary School with enthusiasm. The theme of the programme was rose. Celebrations began with a prayer service conducted by teachers. It was followed by a fashion show by teachers and cultural quiz. Teachers were dressed up in a variety of traditional attire from various states. The quiz was based on the questions related to these states. A colourful dance followed. Keenly contested 'antakshri' contest between teachers and students was also held. Vote of thanks was proposed by the prime minster of the school, Bhavya Gupta.
St Paul School: It was a fun-filled day for students of St Paul School. The programme began with prayer, dance and tributes to Chacha Nehru. Sharda Vidya Mandir: Colourful programme was presented by teachers of Sharda Vidya Mandir to celebrate Children's Day. Teachers sang, danced and enacted onstage to make the morning memorable. Chairman of the school, Vinay Agrawal, and principal Shefali Gautam addressed the children and encouraged them to dream big and work hard.
Jawahar Bal Bhavan: Week-long celebrations concluded here at Jawahar Bhal Bhavan on November 14. Students of different schools participated in the functions. On the last day, students presented colourful cultural programmes.
