Yoga day was started in 2015 by the genuine effort made by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi! And, it is celebrated every year on 21st of June. Yoga is that medicine that has the power to cure any disease of the Universe, even those which cannot be cured by the prescription of Doctor. Including Yoga in everyday life is one of the healthiest practice people can ever make. It not only makes you physically well but will calm your mind and soul.

To spread awareness about Yoga day in schools, institutions and other organizations, programs are organized whereby people deliver speeches on Yoga day. A speech on the occasion of international yoga day-

Good evening to one and all.

It is a great pleasure to get an opportunity to share my views on this precious day. So, 21st June is the day we observe as the international yoga day. We all know, it was an initiative that was taken by our respected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, keeping in mind the importance of Yoga in the life of every individual.

Yoga, a process to achieve mindfulness and a healthy lifestyle should be included in everyone's life. It is a form of body relaxation that is suitable for all age groups. A process to achieve peace of mind, a process to achieve a calm state, a process to provide the body some form of relaxation can all be fulfilled by yoga.

Yoga is a holistic approach that aims for the well-being of human beings. It is a traditional practice and has worked for everyone. As a Yoga guide, I am proud to stand here and state such beautiful benefits of Yoga. I encourage each and everyone to include this valuable practice for improvement and betterment in your life.
