Good morning to one and all present here - Respected principal mam, worthy teachers and all my dear friends. I am Sanskriti of class 8th A, going to present you a speech on the topic "Should there be weekly test for school children?"

Speech:-

Should there be a weekly test for school children? This is a question roaming wide in every school. No one knows the solution for this question. Some schools do and some not. But the solution is yes, we should have weekly tests for children.

As test means to see what ability a child is having to study and learn. Test also means to revise students what they study. But test doesn't means to give marks to the students and see who becomes the topper. As my opinion students should have weekly test, but with a different avatar.

These tests should include logical and reasoning questions with concept based Question. This will help students to sharpen their mind. Concept based questions should be always from the middle of the chapters so that we can see how a child is in its learning growth. Class teachers or subject teachers shouldn't make test sheets because she/he knows what their child is good/ bad at.

These tests should be theoretical and should include MCQs. These tests should be made by a bunch of teachers of every class. It is so because they don't know te ability of the child and will give good and tricky questions.

Students should also collaborate to give weekly tests. This will strengthen their minds and learn the concept easily. This is the growing age of students and should have a growing mind too.
