Monocots have only one seed leaf that is inside the seed coat. It is usually a thin leaf as the endosperm to feed the new plant that is not inside the seed leaf.

Dicots have 2 seed leaves that are inside the seed coat. They are fat and rounded as they contain the endosperm that is needed to feed the embryo plant.

Hope the images help to prepare the album.
