Solution :-

Let,

  • Sidhi's Present Age =  \rm x years

As Present age of Bitu is 2 more than 2 times of Sidhi's age.

Therefore,

  • Bitu's Present Age = =  \rm (2x+2) years

Four Years Ago ;

  • Sidhi's Age =  \rm (x-4) years

  • Bitu's Age =  \rm (2x-2) years

  • Let present age of sidhi be m years.

  • As it is stated in question that present age of bitu is 2 more than 2 times of sidhi's age. So, present age of present age if bitu is (2m + 2) years.

Before 4 years their ages will be ::

  • Age of sidhi = (m - 4) years

  • Age of bitu = (2m + 2 - 4) years = (2m - 2) years

According to the Question,

  • 4 years before bitu age was 8 times of sidhi age.

Therefore,
