Let's assume :

The age of Rajat is x and that of his father is 4x

Solution :

so, The age of Rajat after 5 years = x+5

The age of Rajat's Father After 5 years = 4x+5

given, x+5+21 = 4x+5.

$\implies \bold{x + 26 = 4x + 5}$

$\implies \bold{4x - x = 26 - 5}$

$\implies \bold{3x = 21}$

$\implies \bold{ x = \frac{21}{3} }$

$\implies \bold{x = 7 \: years}$
